Itential Raises Series B to Expand Cloud-Native Offering

When we first met Ian and Chris in 2017, we were impressed that Itential was able to build a cutting edge network automation platform and land marquee enterprise and telecom customers without raising any external funding. Our investment focused on adding the right capital and expertise to help Itential accelerate its disruptive vision for the future of network automation.

As part of the financing, we installed Elsewhere Operating Advisor (OA) Kenny Van Zant to the Itential board. With his previous experience as the Head of Business and Co-Founder of Asana and Chief Product Strategist of SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), Kenny had the right depth and breadth of experience in scaling growth-stage companies quickly and efficiently.

The Itential team has continued to impress us these last few years, helping many Fortune 500 customers and major enterprises automate their most critical infrastructure with a comprehensive yet low-code solution. The company continues to expand its platform from on-premises to cloud-native environments as the network landscape evolves.

We are proud to continue to support the team and their vision with the closing of the $20 million Series B financing.

As part of our Series B investment, Elsewhere OA Cam McMartin is joining the company board. Cam is a seasoned operator, having previously served as COO and CFO at SailPoint Technologies (NYSE:SAIL), where he was instrumental in the company’s transition to a cloud hybrid business model from an on-premises solution.

We look forward to the continued evolution and acceleration of the Itential platform as the Company further modernizes network automation. Congratulations to the Itential team!
