Learnsoft Closes $16.7 Million Growth Investment from Elsewhere Partners

Elsewhere Partners is excited to announce its $16.7 million Series A investment in Learnsoft, a leading provider of SaaS-based enterprise learning and talent management solutions based in San Diego, CA.

Learnsoft delivers a fully configurable, SaaS-based enterprise learning technology platform encompassing LMS (Learning Management System) and TMS (Talent Management System) capabilities. Designed for ease of use, content integration, and intelligent reporting, Learnsoft provides a complete, integrated view of an organization's learners and their learning progress.

Elsewhere is also pleased to announce the addition of two Elsewhere Partners Operating Advisors to the Learnsoft team as part of the financing. Robbie Abt has been appointed CEO of Learnsoft, and Michele Perry has joined as Board Chair.

Robbie brings more than fifteen years of software strategy and go-to-market leadership experience in the healthcare sector. He has long been in the Elsewhere network, most recently as CRO of Relatient, where he led the organization through a phase of rapid expansion alongside Michele, former Relatient CEO.

“Legacy human resources technology players don’t offer software-as-a-service-ready platforms tailored to meet the needs of compliance-heavy industries such as healthcare and government in a user-, instructor- and leadership-friendly manner”, said Robbie. "Learnsoft provides a comprehensive, yet flexible, solution to ensure organizations can quickly adapt so employees are properly prepared for their job – even when major tasks, procedures, policies and regulations are constantly evolving. With the infusion of strategic growth capital, we are now well positioned to scale and meet rising demand without compromising on our service promise."

Prior to Elsewhere’s investment, Learnsoft grew organically as a bootstrapped, profitable start up. With the new financing, Learnsoft will sophisticate and expand its sales and marketing efforts, drive innovation through a bolstered product portfolio, and further build out its executive team.
